Water
Public water is available for this development (via Harnett County)
Comments: HCDPU has existing six (6") inch water lines and two (2") inch water lines located on Tower
Drive, Micro Court and Crossroads Court to serve the residential lots in this subdivision. The water line
was permitted by NCDENR for Phase 1 under Permit # 05-01009 for only 52 lots. The previously
recorded
plat for Phase 1 of Tingen Place included 22 lots and the final plat for Phase 2 of Tingen Place may only
include 30 lots. The final plat for Phase 2 presented for approval to the DRB depicts 31 lots and it is
recommended that Lot # 12 be removed from the plat for HCDPU approval. The water lines that serve
Phases 1 & 2 of Tingen Place have been approved by HCDPU and NCDENR. The developer must provide
HCDPU with a one (1) year warranty for the water lines installed to serve these phases.
NOTE: HCDPU provides this information as a curteousy to the developer, land surveyor and professional
engineer for design purposes. However, HCDPU cannot be held liable for errors, mistakes, ommissions,
and inaccurate information provided through this preliminary approval process. It is therefore
recommended that the engineer or developer "field verify" the information provided by HCDPU prior to
purchasing, grading, excavating, clearing, or developing the subject property. HCDPU will not make
provisions to extend new water lines to new developments at the county's expense and HCDPU will not
provide assistance to upgrade, install or improve the new or existing water services in the proximity of
this
project unless the developer can provide HCDPU proper justification and demonstrate a benefit for
Harnett
County.
Sewer
Public sewer is not available for this development (via Harnett County)
Comments: Septic Tanks must be properly sized and installed on each residential building lot to handle
the wastewater disposal as HCDPU does not have county sewer available within close proximity of this
development. The septic tanks for each residential lot must be approved by The Harnett County
Environmental Health Department.
