recommended that the engineer or developer "field verify" the information provided by HCDPU prior to
purchasing, grading, excavating, clearing, or developing the subject property. HCDPU will not make
provisions to extend new water lines to new developments at the county's expense and HCDPU will not
provide assistance to upgrade, install or improve the new or existing water services in the proximity of
this
project unless the developer can provide HCDPU proper justification and demonstrate a benefit for
Harnett
County.

CONDITIONS:
SHORT TERM:
1. The Utility Contractor must adjust the location and spacing of the fire hydrants on Juno Drive in
accordance with the established requirements of the Harnett County Fire Marshal.
2. Once the fire hydrants have been adjusted as outline in Item # 1 above, the P.E. must provide
HCDPU revised As-Built Record Drawings (mylar & digital formats) to HCDPU before the final plat
may be released for recordation with the Harnett County Register of Deeds.
3. HCDPU and the P.E. have submitted the final certifications to NCDENR - PWSS to obtain
the Final Approval for the new water line(s) installed to serve this subdivision. HCDPU may release
water meters for the lots of this new subdivision once the NCDENR - PWSS Final Approval has been
issued to HCDPU, the E-911 addresses have been assigned to the lots and the Developer has paid
the Capacity Use Fees.

LONGE RANGE:
1. The Developer and Contractor must provide HCDPU with a one (1) year warranty on the
new water mains and sewer collection lines and associated appurtenances that serve this project
once the new utility improvements have been approved by HCDPU and NCDENR.

Water
Public water is available for this development (via Harnett County)
Comments: Harnett County Department of Public Utilities (HCDPU) has inspected the water line
extensions
along Omaha Drive, Sword Loop, and Juno Drive that was installed to serve the Tingen Pointe
Subdivision.
These water mains should be able to adequately serve this project with domestic (potable) water and fire
flow for the fire hydrants. The plans for the water line extensions from the existing water main on Hwy
27
have been previously submitted to HCDPU and NCDENR-PWSS for review and approval. The proposed
water line extensions for this project were permitted by NCDENR-PWSS under Tracking Number 06-
02227.
The utility contractor has completed the construction of the water lines in accordance with the NCDENR
and HCDPU approved plans.
The PE has submitted the As-Built Record Drawings (paper, mylar & digital formats), the PE Certification
and the Cost Statement for the for the water line(s) installed to serve this subdivision. These documents
must be submitted to HCDPU prior to the final plat being stamped by the Development Review Board
(DRB). See the Approval Process for New Water Line Extensions as described on the Harnett County
website. One issue has been noted with the location and/or spacing of the fire hydrants on Juno Drive
by
the Harnett County Fire Marshal. Once this issue has been resolved, then the P.E. must provide revised
As-Built Record Drawings (mylar & digital formats) to HCDPU before the final plat may be released for
recordation with the Harnett County Register of Deeds.

Sewer
Public sewer is not available for this development (via Harnett County)
Comments: Septic Tanks must be properly sized and installed on each residential building lot to handle
the wastewater disposal as HCDPU does not have county sewer available within close proximity of this
development. The septic tanks for each residential lot must be approved by The Harnett County
Environmental Health Department.
