However, the developer must extend a six (6") inch water line off of the existing eight (8") inch water line to serve this proposed development. This will require that a Professional Engineer (P.E.) design the proposed water line extension and the P.E. must submit utility plans to HCDPU for review and subsequent approval of the proposed six (6") inch water line extension in accordance with the established Approval Process for New Water Line Extensions as described on the Harnett County website www.harnett.org under the Public utilities page. Sewer Public sewer is not available for this development (via Harnett County) Comments: Harnett County Department of Public Utilities (HCDPU) has an existing sanitary sewer force main located on the south side of Bunn Level - Erwin Road (SR 1779) that should be sufficient to provide sewer for this location. Since the nearest sewer line is a force main, the developer must install a sewer lift station in accordance with the established Harnett County miminum standards and NCDENR DWQ requirements. The developer must hire a Professional Engineer (P.E.) to design the proposed sewer gravity line and force main including the check valve and tap on the existing sewer force main. The P.E. must submit utility plans to HCDPU for review and subsequent approval of the proposed sewer line extension in accordance with the established Approval Process for New Sewer Line Extensions as described on the Harnett County website www.harnett.org under the Public utilities page.
