REQUEST
The applicant is requesting preliminary plat approval for Yorkshire Plantation Phase 4
and Phase 5 and a variance from street length requirements. The project is a proposed
104 acre residential development for single family homes. The project will be developed
in two phases 49 lots in phase 4 and 78 lots in phase 5.
In accordance with Article VII, Section 7.1 of the Harnett County Subdivision Ordinance
the Planning Board may approve subdivision plats which vary from the design standards
and improvements. The developer is requesting a variance from the maximum 2000’
length requirement for dead end or cul-de-sac streets. The proposed street length is 2,201
feet.
