REQUEST
The applicant is requesting approval for the Preliminary Plat and Outline Development
Plan for Ballard Woods Planned Unit Development (PUD). This project is south of the
previously approved Ballard Woods Subdivision (01/08/03), it is the developers intent
that both subdivisions will be governed by the same restrictive covenants and home
owners association. The previously approved subdivision contains 108 lots on 79.58
acres and the proposed development (PUD) has 88 lots on 54.3 acres and 9.66 reserved
for open space and recreational. The proposed development will require modification to
the existing development and ingress/egress will be through the existing development on
Joseph Alexander Drive. The Conditional Use Permit for the proposed PUD was
approved by the BOA at the November 2003 meeting.
