HomeMy WebLinkAbout06131994 506 HARNETT COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS SPECIAL MEETING, JUNE 13, 1994 The Harnett County Board of Commissioners met in special session on I Monday, June 13, 1994, in the Commissioners Meeting Room, County Office Building, Lillington, North Carolina. Members present: H. L. Sorrell, Jr. , Chairman Beatrice Bailey Hill, Vice Chairman Dan B. Andrews Joseph T. Bowden Walt Titchener Staff present: Neil Emory, County Manager Wm. A. (Tony) Wilder, Assistant County Manager Vanessa W. Young, Finance Officer Kay S. Blanchard, Recording Secretary Chairman Sorrell called the meeting to order at 9 a.m. and recognized Neil Emory, County Manager. Mr. Emory state that the purpose of the special meeting was to review proposed budget items for the F.Y. 94-95 BUDGET WORK SESSION Harnett County Budget and to consider proposed appointments to the Mid-Carolina Private Industry Council. Budget items were reviewed in a work session format. APPOINTMENTS TO THE Commissioner Hill moved for appointments to the Mid-Carolina Private Industry Council as listed below. Commissioner Andrews seconded the MID-CAROLINA PIC motion and it passed with a unanimous vote. Dewendolyn Haskins - at large member I Dr. Catherine Evans - at large member Larry Spell - at large member Debi Lee - community based organization Dr. Martin Sellers - education Thomas E. Meece, Jr. - economic development There being no further business, the Harnett County Board of ADJOURNMENT Commissioners special meeting, June 13, 1994, duly adjourned at 11:30 a.m. 4~.
