ADJOURNMENT
The Harnett County Board of Commissioners met in special session on
Tuesday, September 29, 1992, in the Commissioners Meeting Room, County
Office Building, Lillington, North Carolina, with the following
members present: Beatrice Bailey Hill, Bill Shaw, Mack Reid Hudson,
and Chairman Lloyd G. Stewart presiding. Commissioner Titchener was
absent. Others present were Dallas H. Pope, County Manager, and Kay
S. Blanchard, Recording Secretary.
Chairman Stewart called the meeting to order at 7 p.m. and
Commissioner Hudson offered the invocation.
Dallas H. Pope, County Manager, briefed the group that the purpose of
the special meeting was for the architectural engineering firm of
O'Brien/Atkins, Associates to present the current status of the
Harnett County Facility Study and Master Plan for evaluation by the
Board of Commissioners.
Staff members from O'Brien/Atkins, Associates presented the special
needs analysis, site analysis, and preliminary master plan associated
with the facility and master plan project. Various recommendations
were made throughout the presentation by attending personnel.
There being no further business, the Harnett County Board of
Commissioners' special meeting, September 29, 1992, duly adjourned at
8:30 p.m.
