Minutes of Reconvened Meeting (Budget Workshop)
June 2, 2004
The Harnett County Board of Commissioners met in a reconvened session on
Wednesday, June 2, 2004, in the Personnel conference room, County Administration
Building, 102 East Front Street, Lillington, North Carolina.
Members present:
Teddy J. Byrd, Chairman
Beatrice B. Hill, Vice Chairman
Dan B. Andrews
Walt Titchener
Tim McNeill
Staff present:
Neil Emory, County Manager
Vanessa W. Young, Finance Officer
Wm. A. (Tony) Wilder, Assistant County Manager
Kay S. Blanchard, Clerk to the Board
Chairman Byrd called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m. and called on Neil Emory,
Budget Officer. Mr. Emory led a review and discussion of the proposed FY 2004-05
Harnett County Budget in a work session format.
Commissioner McNeill moved for the Board to go into closed session to discuss a
personnel matter in accordance with Gen. Sta. 143-318.11(a)(6). Commissioner
Andrews seconded the motion and it passed unanimously.
Commissioner McNeill moved for the Board to come out of closed session.
Commissioner Andrews seconded the motion and it passed unanimously.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 11 :00 a.m.
