The Harnett County Board of Commissioners met in joint session with the Board of
Education on Monday, April 26, 2004, in the former library at the old Lillington High
School, 12th Street, Lillington, North Carolina./.......,\

Chairman Teddy J. Byrd was absent due to illness.

The purpose of the meeting was for presentation of the Board of Education's proposed
budget for FY 2004-05.
At 6:00 p.m. Vice Chairman Hill and Board of Education Chainnan Dr. James Bennett
called their respective boards to order.
After an invocation led by Commissioner McNeill, Vice Chairman Hill called on Mr.
Donald Andrews for the Budget presentation. Discussion by the two boards followed
the Budget presentation. There being no further business, the joint meeting of the
Harnett County Board of Commissioners and the Harnett County Board of Education
adjourned at 6:45 p.m.
