The Harnett County Board of Commissioners met in special session on Friday, May 26,
2006, in the Human Resources Conference Room, County Administration Building, 102
East Front Street, Lillington, North Carolina.

Staff present: Neil Emory, County Manager
Wm. A. (Tony) Wilder, Assistant County Manager
Kay S. Blanchard, Clerk to the Board
Guests: Donna McNeill, Chairman, Board of Education
Dan Honeycutt, Superintendent, H.C. Schools
Bob Troutman, Finance Officer, H.C. Schools

Chairman Byrd called the meeting to order at 11:30 a.m. and called on Mr. Honeycutt.
Mr. Honeycutt and Ms. McNeill briefed the Commissioners on additional budget requests
from the Board of Education.
Mr. Emory led a review and discussion of the proposed FY 2006-2007 Harnett County
Budget in a work session format.
There being no further business, the Harnett County Board of Commissioners special
meeting, May 26, 2006, recessed at 1:30 p.m. to reconvene Wednesday, May 31, 2006 at
11:30 a.m.
