Minutes of Special Meeting (budget work session)
May 30, 2007
The Harnett County Board of Commissioners met in special session on Wednesday, May
30, 2007, in the Commissioners Conference Room, County Administration Building, 102
East Front Street, Lillington, North Carolina.
Members present: Teddy J. Byrd, Chairman
Beatrice B. Hill, Vice Chairman
Dan Andrews
Tim McNeill
Gary House
Staff present: Neil Emory, County Manager
Vanessa W. Young, Finance Officer
Kay S. Blanchard, Clerk to the Board
Gary Pope, Director, Emergency Management
Chairman Byrd called the meeting to order at 11:30 a.m.
Mr. Emory reviewed call records and noted highlights of each fire department’s proposed
budget. Mr. Pope answered specific questions regarding the fire districts.
The Board and Mr. Emory discussed other items of the proposed FY 2007-2008 Harnett
County Budget in a work session format.
There being no further business, the Harnett County Board of Commissioners Special
Meeting, May 30, 2007, adjourned at 1:30 p.m.
