Minutes of Special Meeting (work session)
November 3, 2006
The Harnett County Board of Commissioners met in special session on Friday,
November 3, 2006, in the Commissioners Conference Room, County Administration
Building, 102 East Front Street, Lillington, North Carolina.
Members present: Teddy J. Byrd, Chairman
Beatrice B. Hill, Vice Chairman
Dan B. Andrews
Walt Titchener
Tim McNeill
Staff present: Neil Emory, County Manager
Wm. A. (Tony) Wilder, Assistant County Manager
Kay S. Blanchard, Clerk to the Board
Chairman Byrd called the meeting to order at 11:30 and called on Mr. Emory.
Mr. Emory and Mr. Wilder updated the Board regarding the Godwin house on property
purchased by the County for use by the Harnett County Jetport.
The Board visited Larry Johnson to inspect property he alleges was damaged due to water
run-off from an adjoining development.
The Board met with Dr. John Smoot, Betsy Johnson Regional Hospital, regarding Harnett
Health System update.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 2:00 p.m.
