The Harnett County Board of Commissioners met in work session on Tuesday, September 29,
2009, in the Commissioners Meeting Room, County Administrative Building, 102 East Front
Street, Lillington,North Carolina.

Chairman McNeill reconvened the meeting at 10:00 am and led the pledge of allegiance and
invocation.

Introduction of federal strategies "Maximizing Governmental
Relationships"
2) NCDOT Update on various projects: a) Bridge
b) street realignments
c) 401 improvements
d) Lillington bypass
3) Budget Amendments
4) Country Walk mitigation status
5) Draft Letter to Secretary Lanier M. Cansler seeking support of the Good
Hope Inpatient Psychiatric Facility
6) Upcoming: October 5th is date for approval of R-O-W agreement
October 5th is also date for Capital Project Ordinance for new
middle school
October 5th is also date for personnel closed session (Manager's
6 month review)
Commissioner Burgin moved to adjoa! ,i ',eg. Commissioner Andrews seconded the
