The Harnett County Board of Commissioners met in special session on Thursday, June 16, 2011,
in the Commissioners Meeting Room, County Administration Building, 102 East Front Street,
Lillington,North Carolina.
Members Present: Timothy B. McNeill, Chairman
Beatrice B. Hill,Vice Chairman
Jim Burgin, Commissioner
Gary House, Commissioner
Member Absent: Dan Andrews, Commissioner
Staff Present: Scott Sauer, County Manager
Tony Wilder,Deputy County Manager
Dwight Snow, County Attorney
Sylvia Blinson,Finance Officer
Margaret Regina Wheeler, Clerk
Chairman McNeill called the meeting to order. He stated the purpose of the meeting is a public
hearing on the budget but not to debate the budget and cautioned the group to conduct
themselves in civil manner with no attacks permitted. He noted Commissioner Dan Andrews is
not here tonight,he is at a state NCACC meeting in Asheville and sends his regrets
Chairman McNeill called to order a public hearing on the matter and opened the meeting for
comments from the public. The following citizens addressed the Board:

- Allison Marshall, childcare provider in Harnett County
- Rosa Maria Matthews of 185 Highland Drive in Buies Creek
