The Harnett County Board of Commissioners met in special session on Tuesday,August 28, 2012, in the
Commissioners Meeting Room, County Administration Building, 102 East Front Street, Lillington,
North Carolina.

Margaret Regina Wheeler, Clerk to the Board
Chairman McNeill called the meeting to order at 9:00 am and led the pledge of allegiance and
invocation.
The following agenda was before the Board:
✓ Benhaven Emergency Service's request to purchase a Rescue Pumper truck
✓ Davenport: a) School financing update
b) Public Utilities refunding proposal
c) Solid Waste Project
✓ Public Utilities: a)Erwin project update& review of irrigation provisions in current
ordinance
✓ Human Resources: a) Blue Cross health insurance options and other updates
V Planning Department: a)Noise ordinance and proposed revisions for enforcement
b)Request for extension of contract by Stanley Bass,Airport
