The Harnett County Board of Commissioners met in special session on Tuesday, April 9,2013,
in the Commissioners Meeting Room, County Administration Building, 102 East Front Street,
Lillington,North Carolina.
Members present: Jim Burgin, Chairman
Beatrice B. Hill, Commissioner
Joe Miller, Commissioner
C. Gordon Springle, Commissioner
Member absent: Gary House, Vice Chairman
Staff present: Joseph Jeffries, Interim County Manager
Tony Wilder,Deputy County Manager
Jennifer Slusser, Senior Staff Attorney
Kimberly Honeycutt,Deputy Finance Officer
Margaret Regina Wheeler, Clerk to the Board
Chairman Burgin called the meeting to order at 9:00 am and led the pledge of allegiance and
invocation.

- Town of Lillington requests extension for construction of new fire station
- Reorganizing Flatwoods,Lillington, and Summerville Fire Districts
- Insurance District Coverage

➢ Finance Officer's Report,Kimberly Honeycutt
> County Manager's Report:
- Regular Meeting Agenda Review
> Discuss 2013/2014 proposed budgets for Group 2
Commissioner Miller moved to adjourn the meeting at 1:31 pm. Commissioner Springle
