The Harnett County Board of Commissioners met in special session on Tuesday,April 23, 2013,
in the Commissioners Meeting Room, County Administration Building, 102 East Front Street,
Lillington,North Carolina.
Members present: Jim Burgin, Chairman
Beatrice B. Hill, Commissioner
Joe Miller, Commissioner
C. Gordon Springle, Commissioner
Member absent: Gary House, Vice Chairman
Staff present: Tommy Burns, County Manager
Joseph Jeffiies, Deputy County Manager
Tony Wilder, Deputy County Manager
Sylvia Blinson, Finance Officer
Kimberly Honeycutt,Deputy Finance Officer
Margaret Regina Wheeler, Clerk to the Board
Chairman Burgin called the meeting to order at 8:00 am and led the pledge of allegiance and
invocation.
The following agenda was before the Board:
> Sheriff's Office, Sheriff Larry Rollins and Marie Hairr
> Board of Education, Superintendent Tom Frye and members of the Board of
Education and Harnett County School staff
> Clerk of Court,Marsha L.Johnson
> Tax Department
> Register of Deeds,Kim Hargrove
Commissioner Hill moved to adjourn the meeting at 11:39 am. Commissioner Miller seconded
the motion which passed 4—0. �
