The Harnett County Board of Commissioners met in special session on Thursday, May 7,
2008, in the Commissioners Conference Room, County Administration Building, 102
East Front Street, Lillington,North Carolina.

Staff present: Neil Emory, County Manager

Guest: Frances Avery, candidate for county commissioner
Jim Burgin, candidate for county commissioner
Chairman Byrd called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m.
Mr. Emory led a review and discussion of the proposed FY 2008-09 Budget in a work
session format.
There being no further business, the Harnett County Board of Commissioners special
meeti g May 7, 2008, recessed at 11:00 a.m. until Thursday, May 8, 2008 at 11:30 a.m.
