The Harnett County Board of Commissioners met in special session on Friday, December 5, 2008, in the Commissioners Conference Room, County Administration Building, 102 East Front Street,
Lillington, North Carolina.
Members present: Timothy B. McNeill, Chairman
Beatrice B. Hill, Vice Chairman
Dan B. Andrews
Gary House
Commissioner Jim Burgin was absent.
Staff present: Jennifer Slusser, Staff Attorney
Trinity Faucett, Director, Human Resources
Chairman McNeill called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m. and offered the invocation.
Vice Chairman Hill moved that the Board to go into closed session for the purpose of discussing a personnel matter. This motion is pursuant to N.C. General Statute Section 143-318.11(a)(6).
Commissioner Andrews seconded the motion and it passed unanimously.
Commissioner Andrews moved to come out of closed session. Commissioner House seconded the motion and it passed unanimously.
Chairman McNeill recessed the meeting until Monday, December 8, 2008 at 8:00 a.m.
