GENERAL ACCOUNT/MINUTES OF CLOSED SESSION
December 5, 2008
Pursuant to a motion of the Board to go into closed session made and passed unanimously at the special meeting of the Board, all commissioners present met in closed session: Chairman
Timothy B. McNeill, Vice Chairman Beatrice B. Hill, Commissioners Dan B. Andrews and Gary House. Commissioner Jim Burgin was absent. Other individuals who met in the closed session
were County Staff Attorney Jennifer Slusser and Human Resources Director Trinity Faucett.
Discussion of Personnel Matters
The group discussed applications and a proposed recommendation for the Work Force Development Director’s position which is vacant due to the recent retirement of Addie McLean.
Ms. Slusser and Ms. Faucett discussed with the Board the interview process regarding the upcoming appointment of a new County Manager to replace former County Manager Neil Emory who
retired in October.
There being no further business, the closed session was recessed until Monday, December 8, 2008, at 8:00 a.m.

The General Account/Minutes of this closed session was read back to the Board for its review purposes by County Staff Attorney Jennifer Slusser. Motion was made by Commissioner ____________
and a second by Commissioner ___________ to approve the General Account/Minutes as presented. The motion passed unanimously.
The closed session was recessed until Monday, December 8, 2008, at 8:00 a.m.
