Holly Springs Boat Storage 16-50038061I spoke with Mr. Munday on the status of his boat storage site. He is no longer going to go ahead with this business, because he said that DOT is requiring him to install curb and gutter
system for this site. The approximate cost of this is $10,000.00. Mr. Munday said he did not know of anyone else having to do curb and gutter systems like this. Also, he said he was
informed that he needed a fire hydrant and that cost would be approximately $6,000.00. Mr. Munday said he is not prepared for these type of fees right now. He is going to let friends
and family leave their boats at this site and not charge anyone anything. He asked me about him talking to someone that could help him with the DOT issues. I informed him that you
may be able to give him some advice or a contact name for DOT. He said numerous times that he wanted me to let you know that he is very appreciative of all of us trying to help him.
I told him to let me know if we could help him in the future with this business or any other.
