At the time of our visit, building pad construction and footing excavation were complete. Soils at bottom of footing elevation transition from residual to over 5 ft. of fill front to back, respectively. Using a '/ inch diameter steel probe rod ATC tested soils at bottom of footing elevation. In addition ATC preformed hand auters to a maximum depth of 5 ft. below finnish pad elevation or satisfactory residual soils. Results, at areas and elevations tested, indicated soils have sufficient bearing capacity to support a foundation designed for a net allowable bearing capacity of 2,000 pounds per square foot (psf).
