Dear Mr. Aiken,
ATC visited the above referenced site to observe and evaluate foundation soils for Lot 166. At the time
of our visit, building pad construction and footing excavation were complete. Soils at bottom of footing
elevation transition from residual to over 5 ft. of fill front to back, respectively.
Using a '/ inch diameter steel probe rod ATC tested soils at bottom of footing elevation. In addition
ATC preformed hand auters to a maximum depth of 5 ft. below finnish pad elevation or satisfactory residual
soils.
Results, at areas and elevations tested, indicated soils have sufficient bearing capacity to support a
foundation designed for a net allowable bearing capacity of 2,000 pounds per square foot (psf).
