Minutes of Reconvened Meeting
June 2, 2003
The Harnett County Board of Commissioners met in special session on Monday, June
2,2003, in the Commissioners Meeting Room, County Administration Building, 102
East Front Street, Lillington, North Carolina.
. Members present: Beatrice B. Hill, Vice Chairman
Dan B. Andrews
Walt Titchener
Tim McNeill
Staff present: Neil Emory, County Manager
Wm. A. (Tony) Wilder, Assistant County Manager
Vanessa W. Young, Finance Officer
Kay S. Blanchard, Clerk to the Board
At 8:00 a.m., Vice Chairman Hill reconvened the special meeting that recessed May
30,2003 and Commissioner McNeill led the invocation.
Commissioner McNeill moved for the Board to go into closed session to discuss
personnel matters. This motion is made pursuant to N.C. General Statute Section 143-
318.1 I (a)(6). Commissioner Titchener seconded the motion and it passed
unanimously.
Commissioner McNeill moved for the Board to come out of closed session.
Commissioner Andrews seconded the motion.and it passed unanimously.
. There being no further business, Commissioner Titchener moved for adjournment.
Commissioner Andrews seconded the motion and it passed unanimously. The
reconvened meeting, June 2, 2003, adjourned at 8:55 a.m.
