The Harnett County Board of Commissioners met in special session on Friday, May
30,2003, in the Commissioners Meeting Room, County Administration Building, 102
East Front Street, Lillington, North Carolina.

Staff present: Neil Emory, County Manager
Wm. A. (Tony) Wilder, Assistant County Manager
Vanessa W. Young, Finance Officer
Kay S. Blanchard, Clerk to the Board
Vice Chairman Hill called the meeting to order at 11 :30 a.m. and Commissioner
McNeill led the invocation.
Neil Emory, County Manager, led a review and discussion ofthe proposed FY 2003-
2004 Harnett County Budget, including Fire and Rescue Districts, in a work session
format.
There being no further business, the special meeting, May 30, 2003, recessed at 1 :00
p.m. and will reconvene at 8:00 a.m. Monday, June 2,2003.
