Project Overview
The proposed projects involve improving the 1-95 interchanges
in Harnett County. The overpasses will be replaced and the
ramps improved to meet current safety standards and to ac -
commodate future widening of 1-95 to eight lanes. To make
room for the ramp realignments and safety improvements,
service roads will also be realigned .
Proposed Designs
The proposed designs for the improved 1-95 interchanges with
Bud Hawkins Rd . (Exit 70), Long Branch Rd. (Exit 71), Pope Rd./
Spring Branch Rd . (Exit 72), US 421 (Exit 73), Jonesboro Rd .
(Exit 75), and Hodges Chapel Rd . (Exit 77) are shown on the
large aerial display maps .

Potential Impacts
The proposed desi gns for the improved 1-95 interchanges w ith
are expected to result in some relocations. Two relocations
are anticipated for 1-5877, seven for 1-5878, and eight for 1-
5883 .
