Minutes of Special Meeting (Budget Workshop)
May 19,2003
The Harnett County Board of Commissioners met in special session on Monday, May 19,
2003, in the Commissioners Meeting Room, County Administration Building, 102 East
Front Street, Lillington, North Carolina.
. Members present: Beatrice Bailey Hill, Vice Chairman
Dan B. Andrews
Walt Titchener
Tim McNeill
Staff present: Neil Emory, County Manager
Wm. A. (Tony) Wilder, Assistant County Manager
Vanessa W. Young, Finance Officer
Kay S. Blanchard, Clerk to the Board
Also present were approximately 15 citizens.
Vice Chairman Hill called the meeting to order. at 4:00 p.m. and Commissioner McNeill
led the invocation. .
Neil Emory, County Manager, led a review and discussion of the proposedFY 2003-
2004 Harnett County Budget in a work session format.
Sheriff Larry Rollins added information regarding the SheriffD,epartment's budget and
answered questions from the commissioners regarding budget needs for his department.
. There being no further business, the special meeting, May 19, 2003, adjourned at 5:30
p.m.
