Mr. Patterson,
Thank you for submitting the plans for the Great Clips, up fit. The plans have been
carefully reviewed by a qualified code enforcement official to examine for compliance
with the North Carolina Fire Prevention Code and all other fire protection regulatory
documents. There are some items that were found during the plan review process that
need to be addressed before a final inspection of the new facility can be given. These
items are outlined and described below.
Plan Review Notes
• 906.1 Fire Extinguishers
o Minimum of (1) 2A10:BC fire extinguisher shall be installed per 75'
distance of travel.
o All Fire extinguisher shall be properly mounted and tagged by a fire
extinguisher company.
• 506.1 Knox Box
o The building owner has been required to install a Knox box.
o Provide entry key to be placed in the complex Knox box.
Notes:
o Fire Final Inspection required.
o Any additions or alterations to the fire alarm or sprinkler system will require
