To Whom It May Concern/Inspections Dept.:
The undersigned arrived on-site 8-5-17 to observe,review and analyzed the following for
the above referenced site.
The(2)2X10 header 46 inches long was analyzed for the second floor loading conditions.
Based on the analysis the(2)2X10 is adequate to transfer and support the loading conditions.A
2X4 jack and 2X4 king stud is required to transfer the reaction load from the header.Based on
the soundings and observations the framing is adequate to support the 11ft I1in and 14ft llin
second floor loading.
The rear exterior wall was observed along with photographs and soundings for the
replaced header((2)2X10 on(3)2X4 jacks and one king stud each end)for the roof loading of
approximately 15 feet and the second floor loading of approximately 14ft 11 in and based on the
loading conditions the(2)2X10 on(3)2X4 jacks and one king stud each end is adequate to
transfer and support the loading conditions.
