The Harnett County Board of Commissioners met in special session on April 14,
2003, in the Commissioners Meeting Room, County Administration Building, 102
East Front Street, Lillington, North Carolina.

Staff present: Neil Emory, County Manager
Board of Education: Dr. James Bennett, Chairman
William (Chuck) Levorse

BOE staff present: Donald Andrews, Superintendent
Dan Honeycutt, Assistant Superintendent
The purpose of the meeting was for the Board of Commissioners to meet jointly with
the Board of Education to discuss possible uses for the Shawtown School facility after
it is vacated.
Vice Chairman Hill and Board of Education Chairman Bennett called the meeting to
order at 4:00 p.m.
. There being no further business after discussion of possible uses for the Shawtown
School facility, the meeting adjourned at 5:00 p.m.
