At the time of our visit, building pad construction and footing excavation were complete. Soils appear to be less than one foot of fill in the front up to 4 feet of fill at the back. Using a 'A inch diameter steel probe rod and Dynamic Cone Penetrometer (ASTM STP 399), ATC tested soils at bottom of footing elevation. In addition ATC performed hand auger and DCP testing near the four outer comers. ATC performed DCP testing at 12 inch increments down to sa iSfactory residual soils or maximum depth of 5 feet below finish pad elevation. Results, at areas and elevations tested, indicated soils have sufficient bearing capacity to support a foundation designed for a net allowable bearing capacity of 2,000 pounds per square foot (psf).
