At the time of our visit, building pad construction and footing excavation were complete. Soil appears to be mostly residual with less than 1 foot of fill. Using a % inch diameter steel probe rod and Dynamic Cone Penetrometer (DCP) per ASTM STP 399, ATC tested soils at bottom of footing elevation. Results, at areas and elevations tested, indicated soils have sufficient bearing capacity to support a foundation designed for a net allowable bearing capacity of 2,000 pounds per square foot (psf).
