Dear Mr. Aiken,
ATC visited the above referenced site to observe and evaluate foundation soils for Lot 119. At the time
of our visit, building pad construction was complete and footing excavation was near completion. Soils
appear to be mostly residual towards the front half with up to 2 feet fill towards the back perimeter.
ATC tested soils at bottom of footing elevation. In addition, ATC performed a hand augers and DCP
testing at the comers where fill was present. ATC performed DCP testing at 1 foot intervals down to
satisfactory residual soils.
Results, at areas and elevations tested, indicated soils have sufficient bearing capacity to support a
foundation designed for a net allowable bearing capacity of 2,000 pounds per square foot (psf).

Dear Mr. Aiken,
An ATC Engineer arrived on site as requested to observed footings excavated for Lot 119. The
contractor encountered a stump at the front right corner. The contractor removed the stump to satisfactory
soils. The contractor backfilled excavation with #57 washed stone per ATC's recommendation. ATC has
observed and tested footings which are now satisfactory for concrete placement. If there are any
questions, do not hesitate to contact us.
