RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE "PIGGYBACKING" ONA
PURCHASE AGREEMENT FROM BRUNSWICK COUNTY
FOR ELECTRONIC DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT
WHEREAS, the County of Hamett would like to piggyback on a purchase agreement by
Brunswick County, North Carolina awarded on March 17, 2015 for electronic document
management, in accordance with provisions of North Carolina General Statute 143-129, and
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Agent has verified that the conditions of "piggybacking" on the original
contract have been met: and
WHEREAS, a public notice of this purchase without competitive bidding was placed in the legal
section of The Daily Record newspaper on April 9, 2015: and
WHEREAS, this Board desires to authorize the piggybacking on the Purchase agreement with
Brunswick County.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners for the County of Harnett as
follows:
1. That the Board authorizes the "piggyback" purchase of electronic document
management from Northwoods Consultants Partners.
2. That this resolution shall be effective upon adoption.
