G.K.Grantham,I?.II.Turlington, D.P.McPonald,and T.A.Harrington.
Bids for $40,000. Harnett County Bonds,opened at 12 O'clock I¢. and the following bids
received E.H.Rollins & Son Boston Mass. offered X40,050. and accrued interest.
John Nuveen & Co.of Chicago I11. offered (425. premium and accrued interest,also Lithograph
bonds. C.H.Coffin offered 1301. premium. Otis & Hough offered 501 premium.
W.J.Hayyes & son Cleveland 0. offered to take the bonds at 140,000. if the county would
allow 12000 atty. fees. John Nuveen & Co being considered the highest bidder,same was
accepted and bonds awarded said Co.

acting as chairman, Ordered that the following changes be made in Averasboro township.
the value of E.F.Youngs residence be reduced from t3500.to $3000.that 0.P.Shells store
lot be reduced from t3000to12800. that Mrs.J.II.Ballance Res.be raised 1100. that J.W.Lanes
Res.be raised from 11450.tp `tk1600;that C.H.Sextons Res.be raised from 01150.to 11250
that Mrs.Malisse !vcKay be raised from 11050 to t1150.;that McD Holliday land be reduced
?„200.and Mrs.McD.Holliday res.be reduced 1200.;that Mrs.J.J.Dupree houses and lots be
raised from X2450 to e2700.;that AA.F.Fowlers lot be reduced from t1200.to $750.;that
R.G.Allens land be reduced from 1750.to 1700.; ordered that the following changes be
made in Black River Township J.C.i'illiams 124 acre tract of land be reduced from a ?2500.
tp 11050. also town lot from 1800 to 1700.; that the land of Mrs Neally Williams be reduced
from 11700to 1500.;that land of L.H."illiams be reduced from 1700 to <`1600.
Ordered that the Erwin Cotton Mills Co. lands be raised from "294132.to "411784.
Ordered that the School building at Buies Creek be exempt from taxation.
Ordered that th e Estate of Vrs.S.M.Andrews in Stewarts Creek Township be reduced from
750.to 5650. Ordered that T.H.Cumming s mules in U.L.R. be reduced to 1650 and that his
Cattle be reduced to 1200. and th at his mare be raised to 1100.
Ordered that Buckhorn Township lands be raised 20% and thatNeills Creek be raised 10'
and U.L.R.be reduced 10%.
