Ordered by the Board that the chairman of this Board be and he is hereby authorized to
negotiate and effect a loan en account of the General County fund in the sum of $2000.
bearing interest at a rate not exceeding e per annum and the same to be due and payable
on cr before Nov.lst. 1907,and the said chairman is hereby authorized to execute a note
for the amount herein mentioned, to the party from whom said loan is had.The same being
the purpose of meeting the first payment on jail and court -house work.
Whereas it is the desire of the Board of Commissioners of Harnett County to issue bonds
in sufficient amount to refund the tntire indebtedness of Harnett Ccunty,Bonds or otheriiee
and whereas they desire to have introduced in the General Assembly a bill providing for
the issuance of such bonds;Now therefore it is ordered by the Board that G.K.Grantham Clam.
publish in some News paper published in Harnett County,a notice as required by law that
that such bill will be introduced in the General Assembly at its present session.
Ordered that H.C.Stewart, be and he is hereby reappointed keeper of the Court -House and
