Pope Chm Minits of last meeting read and approved,. T.A. Harrington as Chairman, J.H. Williams out going County Treasurer turned in all county script in his hands and it was rec- eived and cancelled. J.H. Williams Treasurer filed and recorded. • made his annual and monthly report and was read and accepted and ordered L.J. Taylor Clerk of Superior Court Elect was presented in the ammount of Ten Thousand Dollars 02 $10,000. was acce *ted and Mr Taylor took the Oaths of Office at once. The Process/ Bond of Sheriff Elect J.B. Lanier in the sum of Five Thousand Dollars was read and ($5000.00) and accepted and Mr Lanier Took the Oaths of Office at once. The Official Bond of A.M. Long Constable Elect of Neils Creek in the sum of One Thousand Dollars ($1000.00) was read -and accepted and .Mr Long Took his Oats of Office atonce A.M. Shaw Register of Deeds was reapointed Purchasing agent for the county for the next two yeana On motion of D.P. McDonald, the land sold by the Sheriff for Taxes the Certificates being held by the County, the parties concerned are to be notified as near as possible by the clerk of the board of Comissioners, and also an Add placed in the County paper, that the parties taking up these certificates, and applying to the Sheriff , will be given a deed for the same and be backed by the Board of County £omissieners. A comittee of Three Including the Chm of this Board ,the other two being A.F. Johnson and J.E. Wilson was appointed to look after the county Home and report to the next meeting of this board as to the advisability of having a Suptendant appointed on a salary. We the Jurors apppinted to lay out and establish a free publis road in Grove Township Leading from the town of Coats tothe Smithfield and Averasboro Road near the Henry Norris bridge on Black River do certify that we laid out said road according to the petition, to the_best advantage to the pub- lic and to the least damage to the petitioners and land owners, and ther being no plea for damage We considered there was no damage, this 5th day of December 1910.I.W.Stewart Sr) R.M.
