The sworn financial statement as presented by A.M. Shaw clerk of Board of the county orders issued by the board of Comissioners for the Year ending Decembft 1st 1911, itemized account was presented and ordered published, the total amounts were as follows:- • The following orders were allowed: - Out of the 3200.00 appropiatedfor free treatment of Hook Worms diseases 3105.55 has been spent leaving on hand $94.45 Out of the 4150.00 allowed for farm demonstration work in September has been spent as follows W.H. Clifford be appointed as aComittee to meet with the'representatives of the Erwin Cotton Mi11sCo., at Duke N.C. on Dec 7th 1911 at 11 ocock A.M. to confer in regards to the assessment of the Property of the said Erwin Cotton MillsCo., and the County Comissioners herein appointed is given power to make final disposition of the valu- ation of the property of the said Erwin Cotton Mills Co., carried Filmset Report of J.R. Lanier Sheriff read and accepted ammount of Taxes collected up to date 411452.29 On motion of J.E. Wilson and seconded by B.F. Williams the Election of Chm and Attorney was left off tali for next First monday of January 1912. T The Chairman was instructed to settle for the water works and Plumbing according to the contract. price. On motion of B.F. Williams the Chm and Clerk of the board was appointed to check up and audit the books of the county Treasuret for the Year ending November 30th 1911. Ordered that Lillis Oquinn be replaced on the Pauper list and given the, 49.00 that she aught to received Monday Oct 1911, 1 Om motion of John E. Wilson the Farmers aid Movement was given,3150.CC in addition of the $150.00 allowed in September. a (&4 Monday December 4th 1911 Continued The petition asking for the changing and relaying off of a public road in Andersons creek Township from McArtans Gin instead of his house as was intended having been before the board the time requ- ired by law was granted and the sheriff was ordered to have Jury sworn and to lay the road off. The petition for a public road in Buckhorn a Hectors Creek having been before the board the time required by law was granted and the sheriff was ordered to have a Jury sworn to lay it off both of the above roads to be at no expense of the county at all. On motion of J.N. Fuquay and seconded by Mr Williams it is ordered that the order granted laying off public roan in Andersons creek Township be recalled and the matter be continued until our next regular Meeting in January 1912 and the Clerk of this Board is instructed to with draw said order from the Sheriff. Apetitiom being filed before this board asking for an Election in U.L. River Township to be held on the 6th day of January 1912 ,in the territory described below the registrar J.D. Patterson Poll Holders W.H. Patterson and S.W. Patterson, the petition having been signed by the number of voter prescribed by law the Election to be held at a Suitable place for the voters and at no expense to the county ,for a stock law in the following described territory: - Beginning in the Stocklaw fence near Neill McLeods out by J.W. Buckannans to J.B. McNeills down Lillington Road to Johns Steens, thence by Dan Wicker's and N.A.•McLeans out by J.R. Davis and W.C. Laudermilks and thence by Joe Browns and E Thomas and to the Northington Road north of J.E. Wilsons , with left' hand side of road to Paul McKays, thence with Stock law fence to Cape Fear River , up said River to existing Stock law fence and with said existing fence to the beginning.
