Norris Constable elect of Averasboro Township was accepted and ordered filed and recorded Bond of :Daniel McCommick .>urveyor Elect of Harnett county was accepted and ordered registered. Report of J.B. Lanier Sheriff on Schedule Band C. was accepted and ordered filed and reoorded. Report of Arnold Supt of health was read and accepted and ordered filed. Petitiom of Citizens of Lillington and U.L. River Townships asking for road that has beenused for public road and closed by J.B. Lanier be reopened for the public was accepted and ordered advertized. Apetition of David Smith of Hectors creek asking to prohibit saw dust being dumped in mill branch was amptIt and ordered filed. a pignation of J.W. Pipkin, Supervisoa of stock law fence in Lillington and Stewarts creek was opted and D.J. Parker was appointed in his place. On motion of A.W. Gregory that the Chs appoint a Comittee to let out the county home to the best of advantage possible, and also to sell the saw timber on the county land was carried. and the chairman appointed A.F. Johnson J.E. Wilson and D.P. McDonald as Comittee. J.C. Clifford was reappoidtdd as County Attorney. Notice is hereby given that the public ferry at Northington will be let to the lowest bidder on the First Monday of February 1911. The books and accounts of J.H. Williams Retiring Treasurer of Harnett County having been audited by this board and found correct, and it appearing to the board from receipts and vouchers duly presented by him that he has paid unto his successor D.B. Stewart all public monies in his hands as treasurer; It is now therefor ordered by the board of County Comissioners of Harnett County, in session this the 2rd day of January 1911, that said J.H. Williams, be and he is herby discharged from further liability on account of his late office of treasurer.
