Resolved : That in the matter of the Toxicological Examination of the Viscera of the Late Brewer, By Chemist W.A. Withers it is the opinion of the Board of County Comissioners upon of the county health Officer that the report is indefinite and unsatisfactory, in that it show, First in what form Mervury was found in each Viseera, Second , that the report fails the quantity present in each Vicsera Third taking the amount found in the Vicsera examined the probable amount ingested. Samuel D. the advice fails to to show what was Ordered that hereafter this board will not Audit and allow any account for quarantine of small pox or for Vaccination for same unless special order is given. therefor in advance by this board this Jury lst 1912. Turnage Deputy - Sheriff of Harnett county in obedience to an.order directed to me from the board of County Comissioners dated the 6th day of May 1912 ; sumoned a Jury of Three good and lawful men, towit: Walter Jernigan T.L. W. Jackson M. Butler, to view the grounds and lay out and mark a road leading from Dunn and Fay - ettville road South W.H. Popes place to the Bass Ferry road near Geo Godwins res, over the land of Josiah Beasly E.S. Jackson and others . Where upon said Jury mejc on the 15th day of June 1912 and after being duly sworn according to law , proceeded to lay off and mark out said road as ordered. To the board of County Comissioners of Harnett: 1, beg to make the following report on establishing the public road across the land of Sam Williams (Col) in Andersons creek Township. I, reeomend that the pub- lic road which has been petitioned for to cross the land of% the said Sam Williams, be changed from the bridge across Andersons creek to lead out straight from said bridge and to follow the said Sam Williams line as near as possible up to where it will intersect with the road now traveled by the R.F.D. Carrier, and then follow that road on to where it will connect with the road ants' originally 'petitioned for, leading out to Mr McArtans and others , Provided first that the said Sam Williams move his fence back 12 feet from the line, beginning at he corner in front of his house leading tow. ards said bridge;- 6econd that said Williams put this part of the road in good shape, Third that said Williams put said bridge in good shape and secure same against high water, This 10th day of June 1912 V.C. Mathews Chm., WHEREAS, this board at its session held on the first Monday in May 1912, at the request of the Town of Lillington and upon petition of numerous citizens of said Town and of this county, did pass an order or resolution to the effect that no license should be issued to any Druggist in the county for the sale of Spirituous liquors upon prescription or otherwise. and Jhereas, it has been made to appear to this board that the Sheriff of this county, either in disregard or in ignorance of said order of this board has issued license unto the McPherson Drug company, of Lillington N.C., purpoting to authorize it to sell spiritous liquors upon prescription from and after June 1st 1912 Now Therefore , be it resolved, by the board of County Comissioners of Harnett county; First That no spiritous or intoxicantant liquors of any description shall be sold tithin the county of Harnett from and after this date, by Druggist , Pharmacists or any other person or persons either upon prescrip- tion or otherwise Second; That the license horetofore issued by the sheriff flxtfl of this county to the McPherson Drug Company authorizing said Company to sell intoxicant or Spiritous liquors, on prescription be and the same is hereby revoked cancelled and declared of no effect. Third; That the McPherson Company be and it is hereby ordered to appear before this board instanter to sur- render said license to this board ; and the sheriff of harnett is directed by thid board, upon sur- render of said license, to return any money received by him therefor unto the said McPhweson Drug Company, Fourth That the Clerk of this Board cause a certified coppy hereof to be served upon McPherson Drug Company immediately and the sheriff of this county is hereby directed forthwith to serve the same .
