Upon the Recommendation of Mr. Taylor the Real Estate of bbe Erwin Cotton Mills Co. was increased .08 % to equalize with the average increase in Duke Twp.,action was deferred until a later date so that Mr.Erwin, who is out of the State,might have an opportunity to be heard. The Hoard ordered that J.H.Pope be notified to give information as to his list of Real Estate in Duke and Averasboro Twps, and it was found that an error was made in listing 800 acres in Averasboro,, and the Board released this from assessment in Averasboro. Barbecue Twp. was then taken up,and Real Estate values were raised .20 %, and the following individual increases were made: 649 acres of Dr.Albert Anderson was increased from $1500 to $2596. 4720 acres of Alex. Sprunt & Sons was increased fram$20 000. to $28,326. 4600 acres of J.A.Harps was increased from $20,600. to $32,200.
