The board met in regular session,present D.H_,Senter,chairman H.N.Bizzell,L,D.Burwell, E.H,Gardner,
amd ::.:.Shaw, ea- met/len
On motion E.H.Gardner, and A.A.Shaw, were appointed to visit the roads built by Mr.
Harps,in western part of the County, and report as to the advisibality of an approation to build
an overhead Bridge over A.C.L.Railroad on said road.
It was ordered that Thomas Carter,(col) on account of phisical infirmity and poverty
is hereby allowed to sell specticals,wares and merchandise in Harnett County, without having to
.pay lisence tax therefore provided however an on condition that he sells the said specticals Etc
to his own effort and for his exclusive benifit.
Dr J.W.Hal:!ord, County Health officer filed his offidial report for May,1915,same was
ordered filed.
JM Byrd,Sheriff,tendered his official bond in the sum ofy10,000 ttith the NewEngland
Casulaty Company, for collection of State and County,lisence tax,same was approved and ordered
filed and recorded.

Favorable to the above petitioners the election for Bonds was granted, and the

"NOTICE OF SPECIPL ELEC'ION.
Under and by virtue of authority- contained in an act of the general assembly of North Carolina,
as set out in Senate Bill No.1668 and Huse Bill No.20 79, of the session of 1915,entitled an act
to authorize Neills Creek Township in Harnett county, to issue Bonds for the purpose of investing
in the construction of the Central Carolina \ailroad: AND WHEREAS, more than one third of the
qualified voters of Neills Creek Township of MarnettvCounty, have petitioned this Board for said
election as authorized in.said act:
Now Therefore,Notice is hereby given that an election. will be held in said Township
dt the regular voting precint on the 31St., day of July, 1915,submitting to the qualified votersof
said Tewuship the question of issuing Bonds in the sum of TWENTY FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS for said
Township,, - bearing interest at the rate of FIVE PERCENT Per Annum, Payable Semi- Annually,and to
run for a period of Twenty Years,said bonds to be of such denominations and payable at the Wre-e
Treasures office of Harnett County, or such other place as may be fixed by the Board of County
Commissioner -s of Harnett County, within the limit of-the law provided therefor.
At said election those who are in favor of issuing Bonds for the purpose of
investing in the construction of the Central Carolina Railroad through Neills Creek Township
shall vote a written or printed Ballott with the word "For Bond Issues Upon it,and those opposed
to issuing Bonds shall vote a written or printed Ballott with the word "Against Bond Issue upon
it.
It is further resolved by the Board of County Commissioners of Harnett County,
