05031915MONDAY,MAY 3rd.,1915. Board of Counfg Commissioners met in Regylar Session, Present; D.H.Senter,Chm., L.D.Burwell A.A.Shaw,E.H.Gardner,and H.N.Bizzell. Minutes of last Meeting read and Approved,with the exception of the omission of the following Resolution,which was ordered recorded herewith: " Whereas the former Board of County Commissioners pledged the sum of 41500.0Q to the support of the Lillington Farm Life School,and it appears that said sum has not yet been appropriated,and it appearing that the need of the Institution demands the appropriation of said sum,it is therefore ordered by the Board that an order be drawn on the Treasurer of Harnett County for the sum of 41500.00, said order to be made payable to J.R.Baggett,The Treasurer of the Lillington Farm Life School. Approved: D,H.Senter,Chairman." The following petition was presented to the Board by the Trustees of the Lillington high School District: " North Carolina, Harnett County. To the honorable Board of Commissioners of Harnett County,Greeting: ie the undersigned Trustees of the Lillington High School District,pespectfully, petition that.yotir Honorable Board call an Election in said Dthool District to be held on Tuesday,June 8th.1915, for the.purpose of authorizing the Issuance of 410,000. of Bonds for the completion of the School Building of said District, as provided by an act passed by the General Assembly of North Carolina, at its Session of 1915, entitled "An Act to Provide for an Additional Bond Issue for Lillington High School District Harnett County ", it being House Bill number 1464 and Senate Bill number 1558,provisions to be made for the Holding of said Election in accordance with the requirements of said act. Dr.J.W-.Halford filed his official report as County health officer and the same was read and ordered filed.
