We, the undersigned free holders of the county of Harnett
constituting one fourth of the free holdees of the proposed special school district inoludidd witp
in the following boundaries, towit:- Beginning at Moses Holmes Ford and running North to Duncan leaving
J.G. Spence to left of said line, tkenoe North to the Make County line, thence West with said County
line to Chapel Hill road to James James Dennis Tkenoe South WestX)e to Overhead Bridge of Norfolk
Soutkern R.R. thence with Rail Road North Side of Right of way to Chatham county line tkenoe South to
the Watson place thenos Bast to the Rocky ford Parker* Creek thence South Bast to the Beginning,
Respectfully petition your Honorable board for an Bleation to aeoertain the will of the People within
the proposed special sokool district wkether jijWY there shall be lewied in said district a special
annual tax of not more than 20ots on tke one hundred dollars valuation of property and 60 eta on the
P011 to supplement the public school funds which say be apportioned to said district bf the county Board
of education in case such special tax is voted the same to run 4 years at the end of 4 years the same t
to be continued or discontinued according to wishes of voters
