Minutes of last meeting read and approved. J.H.Wllliams-sent his restgna3tion as RoadCommissionera of Stewarts Creek Township. Resigna- tion accepted and - S.M.Byrd appointed in his stead. Notify J.W.Phillips to file report each month. Upon presentation of School budget by Board of Education motion was carried to approve said Budget. Ordered that -Mrs. W.A.Forbes be rebated of $750.00 on taxes in Neills Creek. Mrs. T.A.Byrds' lots in Mamners were reduced from $5640.00 to $`3100p00($50.00 each) and re- lease ordered to be•given for $2540.00 Ordered that -Mrs. J.T.Winatead ne pit on pauper list for Jan. for $5.00.Miss Campe to j investigate. Ordered that-John R. Mclean be taken off pauper list after Jany. Ordered that- C.H.Brown be put back on Salary at $100.00) paid, Notify J.B.Lanier that all accts. of Convict Camp be itemized and each ktem stated,before Ordered that -Miss Campe investigate the Condition if Rachel MCLean,col. Also Mr. Buchanan to go with Miss Camps. Moved and seeonded that a fire station be leased to the Town of Lillington for-the term of twenty years.Mr. - Senter to be chm, and Mr. Young to draw up contract and this station to be on Street at least-80 feet if possible from Jail and to be a brick building. Moved and second that list handed to the Auditor to investigate and see of they are in certain school District. If so to be released. Moved and seconded-that bill of Mr. Hemmingway Averasboro Road District for $216.56 be accepted. ]Mooed and seconded that Special Week of Criminal Court for 3rd Week in March be called for. Moved and seconded-that the County will pay Mr. Edge $1300.00 instead of $1000.00. A raise of L$300.00 a year. Moved and seconded-that the Chairman of this board be authorized to borrow the sum of $16000.00
