The Board met in Cali Session with the following members present
John McLeod, Chairman, W. C. Loudermilk, Stewart Turlington, Wm. Morgan,
with Go. Manager Attorney.
It is ordered that the Board receive bids on 450,000 worth of
bonds -with the average life of 20 jLears and that the bids shall include
the drawing of the act and all expenses tat occur in issuing the said
bonds, with full right of the' board to accept or reject all bids, The
Bidder to guarantee a 2% Cert fiea.oheok.
Moved by Stewartulington that the board reject the Bid of Walter
Woody ec Heimerdinger, the highest bidder for the H. C. bonds,seconded by
r�3. C. •Laudermilk, the motion was serried.
It is ordered by the board of Harnett County Commissioners that
they offer for sale a note under Section 4 of the 1927 laws. The note to be
due Ninety days from date of note. The amount of note 440,000re
The purpose for sale of note is to pay a note at the Chase National
Bank,•New York, Due January 25th 1929. The amount of this note $30.000.f
RESOLVED BY THE BOARD HU COUNTY CCMMI SSIONERS that they hereby
instruct John Green tax Collector to use such means as is necessary to coils
the taxes as it is absolutely necessary to have money to run the Schools,
otherwise the teachers will have to go without their money,
