County Commissioners met in regular session on December 17, 1928. All
Members of Board present witW County Attorney, J. O. West.
It is ordered by the Board of, Harnett County Commissioners, that J. C.
Singleton be hired out to the County Roads,
APPOINTMENTS:
The board of County Commissioners made the following appointments:
J. E. Dupree of Angier, was appointed to fill the office of County Auditor.
His Salary being the same of the present auditor.
Mr. D. H. Senter was appointee County Mamager with a fixed Salary of
$2400.00 per year. His duties in the main to be that of the County'Mamager
together with that of purchasing agent.

It is ordered that the appointees 4. Dupree and Mr. 'Senter be notified of
their appointments by the Clerk.
It is ordered that All purchafies for the County shall be made by the County
Purchasing agent. It is furtBer ordered that the said purchasing Agent
shall O. K. all county bills Before being paid by the county.
It is ordered that the Board ajourn until the next regular meeting January
7th 1 9.
