08061928MINU !ES OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS ON MONDAY AUGUST 6-1928_. County Commissioners met in regular session on Monday, August 6, 19289 with the following members present: Jas. A. Buchanan, Chairman; J.A. Hockaday, B.P. Ingram, L.R. Byrd and Z.P. Snipes, also Z.R. Williams, County Attorney. ,,:inutes of last meeting read and approved. It is ordered that the sum of $WQ,.OQ... be paid to Stranahan, Harris & Oati� in full for services, and that the said sum be paid from the proceeds of said bond issue. The committee ordered to make investigation of the solvent credits not listed, having made a temporary report, it is ordered that the investigation be continued and that a full and final report be filed on first Monday in Sept. 1928. It, is ordered that N.w. Gregory, be authorized to pay the proportional part of the tax due on the John McRae estate in Anderson Creek township representei by his interest of 175 acres out of a total of 600 acres, and that the 175 acres be then relieved of any liability for taxes on remainder of tract. REPORTS: It.is ordered that report from C.S.C. be accepted and filed, and that checks for y137.30 and y239.25 be turned over to County Auditor. It is ordered that report from Lrs. Lewis, Supt.
