EQUALIZATION BOARD
Commissioners met in call session July 12th, 1926, all members of
Board present with I. R. Williams, County Attorney.
It is ordered that the sum of $1295.2E, be paid Aversboro School -Dist.
No. 1. Said amount due said district from collection of taxes by E. F.
Young for the year 1920, 1921, 1922, and 1923.
It is ordered that Auditor transfer $15,000.00, from, - General County
Fund to Harnett County Road Fund for purpose of paying for bridges, culverts,
and pay rolls now due.
It is ordered that Auditor list 37 acres of lsnd to G. Y. Grantham
in Aversboro Township with a valuation of $4,000.00.
It is ordered that Mr. Williams, Attorney, investigate tax matters
relative to lot claimed by R. G. Taylor, bur not listed for several years
prior to 1926.
The following alterations were made relative Real Estate values

AVERSBORO TOWNSHIP
It is moved and seconded that acreage df Mrs. J. E. Jernigan be raised
to $65.00 per acre.
It is ordered that the valuation of Mrs. L. J. West be reduced on
acerage to $70.00 per acre.
It is ordered that the valuation of house and lot of G. L. Canaday
(Allen property, col.) be reduced from S150O.00, to 5750.00.
it is ordered that valuation of house and lot of M. E. Scott be
