The Board of CountrOomtissioners met in a call session on July 13th.
1936 with these members present: Chairman J.B.Ennis; Geo. T.Noel;
E.L,Cooke;.J.S.Barker;:and A.A.Cameron.
It is ordered that Dennis Williams, of Grove Township, be and he is
hereby released of the payment of poll tax for 1936 and prior years on
account of physical disability. -
It is ordered that Miss SueiSmdth, Mrs. Jno.A.Buchanan, Mrs. Walter Lee
Tohnson, Mrs. Boonie Andrews; Mts. LE.Nichols, R.S.Kelly, Henry Strickland,
and C.g.Dula be appointed a committee to investigate the proposed circulating
library for geThetteCtUnty4; and to report to the Board of Commissioners as
to the best plan for this County, taking into consideration the financial
condition of the County.
It is ordered that report of T.J.Turlington County Forest Warden, be
accepted and filed.
It is ordered that tentative budget be filed as of June 6th. 1936.
ORDER;
The Wachovia Bank and Trust Co. of Raleigh, N.C. is hereby authorized,
to exchange for the First-Citizens Bank & Trust Co. 'of Dunn, N.C. two
$1,000.00-Duplin County Road and Bridge Funding and Refunding 5WBonds
Nos. 7 and 8, due Sept. 1, 1936 for two $1,000.00 La:Fayette, Ind., Joint
Stock Land Bank 4 Bonds Nos. M270507/8 due May 1, 1955.
It is ordered that the Board now adjourn until Monday, July 20th. when
it will sit as an Equlization and Board of Review.
