Cameros. I.R.Williems, County Attorney, also present. It is ordered that $18.00 per month be appropriated for the hire of an Assistant Case Worker in Nerasboro and Duke Townships. It is ordered that a iommittee composed of Geo. B. noel and S.L. 0ooke and I.R.Willieme investigate the valuation of the property of pr. H.C.Turlington in Dunn, H.C. Section 2. That in order to provide said improvements, it is estimated that the sum of $258,892.89 is necessary, the same to be used by the Board of Education of Harnett County for said purpose. SECTION 3, That the Board of 0ommissioners for the •ounty of Harnett does hereby approve of, and authorize B.P. Gentry, Secretary to the Barnett County, N.C`" Board of Education, "to execute and file an application on behalf of the Board of Education of Harnett eounty,N.O. to the United States of America through the Federal Bmergenoy Administration of Public Works for a loan and grant i,n the the cum 9 3258,892.89 to aid in financing the construction of School Buildinga, Additions to existing s eitool buildings and.wwwage disposal plants for school buildings• . SECTION 4. That J.B. Ennis, Chairman of the Board of Commissioners for the County Of Barnett, be and he is hereby authorized and directed for and on behalf of said Board of Commissioners to join with the Board of Education of Harnett County in making application on behalf of said Board of Education of Harnett County to the United States of AMerica, through the Federal Anergency Administration of Public Works for said loan and grant for said purpose. SECTION 5. That B.P. Gentry, Secretary to the Harnett County, N.C. Board of Education, is hereby authorized and directed to furnish such information as the United States of America through the Federal Emergency Administration of Public Works may reasonably request in connection with the application which is herein authorized to beffiled. 307; APPLICATION FOR LOAN AND GRANT. The Board of Commissioners for the County of Harnett hereby joins with the Board of Sduoation of Harnett fount,' (herein Balled the " Applicant") in making application to the United States of Sarin through the Federal IIdergeney Ldministre Lion of Public forks (herein Balled the "Government ") for a loan and Brent for the purpose of aiding in financing the construction of school buildings, additions to existing school buildings, and sewage disposal plants for school buildings (herein called the "Project ") the total Bost of which is estimated to be $258,892.89. In the event this application is approved and the Government offers to assist in financing the oonstruction of the Project, and the Spplieent accepts such offer, the Board of Commissioners for the Counfy of Harnett will all obligations of the County of Harnett in an amount Mich, together with the grant, will, in the judgment of the Applicant and the Federii Saergeney Administrator of Public forks, be suf- ficient to construct the Project, such obligations to be seamed in such manner, to bear interest at such rate, to be in such form, to be payable at such time or times and at such place or places, to be In such denominations and to have such registra- tion privileges as nay be satisfactory to the Applicant and to the said Jdministrato: It is expressly understood that if the Government makes the above requested log: and grant, the applicant, in accepting such loan and grant proceeds, in expending the same, and in carrying out the construction of the Project, will abide by all rules and regulations prescribed by the Government.
